Conclusion

After the Gold Rush ended, most miners moved back to their family and continued their everyday lives. Many immigrants would not or could not go home, so they found other ways of making a living. A lot of the people who stayed became farmers because of their plan to be patient and till the soil. The discovery of gold has impacted California's history forever even though at first people thought it was a scam.
